May 31, 2019: UCSF Advanced Diabetes Management Training
Improve your diabetes care skills by learning from regional experts. In partnership with UCSF, scholarships are being offered to Aliados Health health center clinicians to participate and receive content and CMEs on diabetes management.
Program Description
Participants will:
- Complete 2¼ hours of online videos
- Type 2 Diabetes Pharmacotherapy with Dr. Lisa Kroon: Overview & Oral Meds (37 min), Incretin-Based Therapies and non-insulin injectables (16 min) & Summary (26 min)
- Insulin with Dr. Sarah Kim: Basics (12 min), Insulin Initiation and Basal Optimization (13 min) & Starting Prandial and Correctional insulin (30 min)
- Take post tests to confirm your knowledge
- Submit a case from your practice
- Finally, attend the in-person session with Maureen McGrath
