May 17, 2018: MAVEN Project Educational Session, Infectious Disease: Rethinking Penicillin Allergy

The MAVEN Project is very excited to announce our upcoming Educational Sessions! As always, these sessions are presented via Zoom videoconferencing, and consist of 20-30 minutes of a presentation and 15 – 20 minutes of Q&A. Our volunteers are eager to discuss your patients, so please don’t hesitate to come with questions or cases you’d like to discuss.

Specialty: Infectious Disease

Presentation Title: Rethinking Penicillin Allergy

Bio: Dr. Gold retired in March 2018 after 30 years practicing adult Infectious Diseases in San Francisco. She was also active teaching medical residents and presented at medical center grand rounds regularly about infectious diseases of concern including Ebola, Zika, pandemic influenza, SARS, etc. Finally, she was the hospital epidemiologist for 15 years and oversaw infection prevention in the hospital and outpatient clinics.
