May 10, 2018: MAVEN Project Educational Session, Psychiatry: How to Work Up Dementia in the Primary Care Setting

The MAVEN Project is very excited to announce our upcoming Educational Sessions! As always, these sessions are presented via Zoom videoconferencing, and consist of 20-30 minutes of a presentation and 15 – 20 minutes of Q&A. Our volunteers are eager to discuss your patients, so please don’t hesitate to come with questions or cases you’d like to discuss.

Presentation Title: How to Work Up Dementia in the Primary Care Setting

Bio: Dr. Schwartz is an internist/psychiatrist with deep and long-standing interest and experience in high quality integrated and collaborative medical-behavioral care for patients. His goal is to focus on achieving clinically important medical and behavioral outcomes that can be measured and tracked. He is currently interested in remote, telephonic work that allows him to actively participate in care programs that utilize interdisciplinary care teams, in primary care medical systems, as well as in special needs populations: Addiction, HIV/AIDS, Chronic Mental Illness, Palliative Care, Homeless Medical Care.
