MAVEN Project: Endocrinology, Type II Diabetes

April 12, 2018: MAVEN Project Educational Session, Endocrinology: Type II Diabetes:

The MAVEN Project is very excited to announce our upcoming Educational Sessions! As always, these sessions are presented via Zoom videoconferencing, and consist of 20-30 minutes of a presentation and 15 – 20 minutes of Q&A. Our volunteers are eager to discuss your patients, so please don’t hesitate to come with questions or cases you’d like to discuss.

Speaker: Dr. Atara Schultz

Specialty: Endocrinology

Presentation Title: Type II Diabetes

Bio: Dr. Schultz is a busy mother of 3 young children, working full time in Teaneck, New Jersey. She specializes in management of Diabetes and Endocrine diseases. She loves teaching, whether it be her patients, medical students and residents, or other physicians. And she was a Clinical Instructor at the Mount Sinai Hospital, volunteering her time teaching Endocrinology fellows, until recently. In her free time, she likes to relax with her family and friends.
