The MAVEN Project is very excited to announce our upcoming Educational Sessions! As always, these sessions are presented via Zoom videoconferencing, and consist of 20-30 minutes of a presentation and 15 – 20 minutes of Q&A. Our volunteers are eager to discuss your patients, so please don’t hesitate to come with questions or cases you’d like to discuss.

Presentation Title: Commonly Encountered Thyroid Issues in Pediatric Practice
Bio: After completing fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology, Dr. Misra worked for Kaiser Permanente for 30 plus years. She took care of children with a variety of endocrine disorders. She retired in May 2017 and in August 2017 joined School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County where she is a supervising physician for a pediatric clinic run primarily by nurse practitioners. Her current job includes providing phone consult, occasionally seeing a consult, and chart review.
