June 4, 2018: MAVEN Project Educational Session, Urology: Evaluation and Surgical Treatment of Urinary Stones:
The MAVEN Project is very excited to announce our upcoming Educational Sessions! As always, these sessions are presented via Zoom videoconferencing, and consist of 20-30 minutes of a presentation and 15 – 20 minutes of Q&A. Our volunteers are eager to discuss your patients, so please don’t hesitate to come with questions or cases you’d like to discuss.
Urinary Stones affect almost 10% of the population. 80% are calcium. Many factors affect the diagnosis and treatment of stones and will be discussed from a surgical perspective.

Bio: Dr. Brian Dorman MD, FACS provides expertise in general urology, urologic cancers, stone disease, and erectile dysfunction. He started and has run a successful urology practice for years as well as worked in a multi-specialty group. He emphasizes a holistic approach to medicine and patient care.
